Yesterday, World Number Two Roger Federer of Switzerland made a shock exit from the tournament, after losing his quarterfinal fixture to Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Federer was stunned by Tsonga 5-7, 3-6, 3-6. Spain's David Ferrer, however, made it to the semi-finals, after beating compatriot Tommy Robredo, 6-2, 6-1, 6-1.In the remaining two Women's Singles quarterfinal matches, Russia's World Number Two Maria Sharapova will take on Jelena Jankovic of Serbia, while Victoria Azarenka of Belarus will face Maria Kirilenko of Russia today. Poland's fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska's crashing out was the other shocker yesterday. Radwanska lost to Italy's Sara Errani 4-6, 6-7. World Number One Serena Williams of the United States continued her splendid form and advanced to the last-4 stage. She defeated Russia's Svetlana Kuznetsova, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3.
