India's Saina Nehwal and Ajay Jayaram will play their respective pre-quarterfinal matches of the French Open Badminton tournament in Paris today. In the Women's Singles, top seeded and London Olympics Bronze medalist Saina will take on Sapsiree Taerattanachai of Thailand; while in the Men Singles, Ajay Jayaram will clash with third seed Peter Hoeg Gade of Denmark.In their opening round matches yesterday, while Saina Nehwal defeated China's Li Han 21-11, 16-21, 21-19; Ajay beat Thailand's Suppanyu Avihingsanon 21-16, 21-17.The Indian shuttlers, who ended on the losing side were, Sourabh Verma in the Men's Singles, the duo of Tarun Kona and Arun Vishnu in the Men's Doubles and the pair of Ashwini Ponnappa and Tarun Kona in the Mixed Doubles.
