Freeze on settlements should not be part of any agreement with Palestinians:Lieberman

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has said, his party will block any attempt by the Government to extend the partial freeze on settlement building in the occupied West Bank. The moratorium is set to expire in three weeks. Lieberman said at a news conference on Monday that a freeze on settlements should not be part of any agreement with the Palestinians. He said, Israel evacuated 21 flourishing settlements from the Gaza Strip and the result was Hamas in power.The Palestinian leaders say they will quit the peace talks ifconstruction resumes.
