Free WiFi to devotees coming on pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Free WiFi facility will be available to the devotees coming on the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. AIR correspondent reports that the Information and Technology Department of the UT has sent a proposal for providing an accessible WiFi facility to the passengers from Katra to Maa Bhawan, the base camp of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, for the approval of the Union Ministry of Information and Technology. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Administrative Secretary of Information and Technology Department Amit Sharma said that a large number of devotees from all over the country and abroad arrive on the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi every year. There should be no problem with the internet in such a situation and they can get an accessible WiFi facility during the journey. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Therefore, the Information and Technology Department of the UT Government has prepared a proposal and sent it for the approval of the Union Ministry of Information and Technology. Once the proposal is approved, a plan is also being prepared to work in this direction expeditiously. Worth to mention at present, the devotees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi have the facility of BSNL WiFi, but they have to pay for it. </span><br />''
