On the occasion of Seva Diwas, as part of the celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 72nd birthday, the Free Mega Multi-Specialty Health Check-up Camp was organized by Chandigarh Welfare Trust (CWT), along with the NID Foundation and Chandigarh University Gharuan. <br />''<br />''The camp was inaugurated by Chandigarh UT Administrator and Punjab Governor, Banwarilal Purohit on Saturday morning, at Grain Market in Sector 39, Chandigarh, and Union Minister for Women and Child Development Samriti Irani attended the closing ceremony of the medical camp as a Chief Guest. Addressing on this occasion she said, India is progressing in every field under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She praised the organisers for conducting such a mega medical camp.<br />'' <br />'' A large number of citizens took advantage of various healthcare services provided at the camp. Mrs. Samriti Irani also interacted with the beneficiaries of the free medical camp.<br />'' <br />''As many as 2000 patients were screened for various types of cancer, whereas 5000 people got their eyes screened; prosthetic limbs were distributed among 530 beneficiaries, while 1240 people availed orthopedic services, 430 pediatrics, 2000 gynecologists, where the remaining availed general medicinal services at various OPDs in the camps.<br />
