Frankfurt-Paris Inter City Express high speed train collides

A Frankfurt-Paris Inter City Express high speed train on Tuesday collided with a garbage truck in southwest Germany and two carriages derailed, leaving one man seriously injured and 14 other people slightly hurt. Police said the train carrying 320 passengers ran into the truck near Lambrecht, about 90 miles southwest of Frankfurt, after the truck slid down a wet slope and partially blocked the tracks. The 35-year-old driver of the garbage truck was seriously injured and flown to a hospital.
