With a mission to refurbish the image of public servants, the Government has now designed a framework to revive Citizen Charters to remind them that people should be their top priority. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is conducting a series of workshops in collaboration with Cabinet Secretariat for middle-ranking officials to train them to serve people in a better way. The second workshop in the series of four was today inaugurated by Union Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrasekhar for 'Designing and Implementing Sevottam Compliant Citizen's Charters and Grievance Redress Mechanism' in 21 ministries and departments.
