Foreign investors brought in over 3,700 crore rupees into Indian equities in June, mainly on hopes of a good monsoon. According to data available with depositories, Foreign portfolio investors have invested a net of 3,713 crore in the stock market last month. However, they pulled out 6,220 crore rupees from the debt market during the period under review. So far this year, FPIs have invested 20,648 crore rupees in equities while withdrawing 12,105 crore rupees in the debt market, resulting in a net inflow of 8,543 crore rupees.
