In West Bengal, the fourth phase of Assembly elections will take place tomorrow in 63 seats covering East Midnapur, Hooghly, Howrah and parts of Bardhawan districts. Over one crore twenty six lakhs voters will decide the fate of 366 candidates. The Election Commission has appointed Mr. Sudhir Kumar Rakesh, Chief Electoral Officer of Bihar as Special Observer for this phase. Besides 42 General Observers, nine Expenditure and four Police Observers have also been engaged to oversee the poll process.
