‘In Pakistan, fourteen security personnel including a colonel have been killed at a check post in the troubled Khyber tribal region of the northwest part of the country. According to official sources, nearly 50 Taliban militants attacked the check post in Akakhel area of Khyber Agency on Monday night. The troops killed when a shell they were loading into a weapon exploded accidentally. The dead included 12 personnel of the Mehsud Scouts.
