In Manipur, four militants belonging to the proscribed outfit – United People’s Party of Kangleipak(UPPK) surrendered before the state Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi Singh at Imphal today. The militants also handed over arms and ammunition including three HK-33 Rifles and one A-1 Rifle to the Chief Minister. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his government is ready to extend all possible help to properly rehabilitate the surrendered militants. He also said their secured future is a prime concern of the government.
