In Chhattisgarh, four suspected Naxals were arrested in Bastar district yesterday. Bastar SP Sundarraj P said, the Naxalites – Baman, Sukhram, Pardeshi, and Sukman – were arrested from the forests near Sulenga and Marikoder villages under Mardoom police station by a team of district police and Special Task Force, who were on patrol duty. He said, the Naxals, who belonged to the Barsur Dalam, had allegedly killed a 55-year old man in Tunder village in the district on July 24. The Bastar SP said, Baman and Pardeshi were carrying a reward of 5,000 rupees on their head.
