Four special courts to be established in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, four special courts will be established in Chennai, Tiruchi, Madurai and Coimbatore to try corruption cases. Replying to the debate on grants for law and prisons department, the State Law Minister Mr Duraimurgan said village courts would not be implemented in the state as the scope of full arguments in these courts were limited.<br/> The minister said integrated courts will be established in Sengi, Omallur, Nagercoil, Palakode, Valparai. He said the state government had allotted over 300 crores in the last four years for construction of court buildings, housing units for judicial staff and upgrading infrastructure for the judiciary.
