In Kashmir valley, four persons died today in fresh violence. Authorities are trying to impose curfew stringently. Two person were killed and two others injured at Frisal in Kulgam district as a irate mob set a police post on fire. One person was killed in Narbara, Srinagar city and another one in Qamarbari area when people violated curfew and the security forces resorted to firing. Security vehicles are making announcement in the city and asking people to stay indoors as shoot at sight orders are now invoked.Meanwhile, a group of Left MPs has written to the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to send a delegation of Parliamentarians to assess the situation in violence-hit Kashmir valley. The letter has expressed concern at the deteriorating situation and the escalating violence in the valley. Prominent among the MPs include leader of CPI(M) in Lok Sabha Basudeb Acharia, Mahendra Kumar Roy, Sk Saidul Haque, Anup Kumar Saha, K N Balagopal, T N Seema, A Sampath and M B Rajesh (all CPI-M).
