In Uttar Pradesh, four people were killed and at least 10 other injured in a road accident in Chitrakoot today. The accident occurred near Baghrehi River Bridge in Raipura Police station area. Additional Superintendent of Police Vipin Kumar Mishra told AIR correspondent that four people including two women died on the spot and at least ten others injured when a truck carrying at least 25 people overturned due to drivers negligence in Raipura area. The victims were returning from a pilgrimage place – Chitrakoot dham. Some of the seriously injured people have been transferred to Allahabad. The deceased belonged to Allahabad.
