Four JMM MLAs demand the continuation of Shibu Soren as Jharkhand CM

In a new twist to political imbroglio in Jharkhand, four of the 18 JMM MLAs have demanded continuation of party President Shibu Soren as Jharkhand Chief Minister for first 28 months before handing over the baton to the BJP on the basis of 50:50 formula. JMM MLAs Champai Soren, Bidyoot Barun Mahto, Ram Das Soren and Dipak Birua told reporters in Jamshedpur that replacing Mr Soren as Chief Minister will send a wrong signal among the tribal. All the four hail from the Kolhan region in Jharkhand and are strong supporters of Soren. JMM had earlier this week claimed that an agreement has reached in Delhi between BJP and JMM about ruling the state for 28 months each. However, BJP maintained that an agreement was reached among the two parties that it would rule the full term in the state.<br/>
