Four Indians today qualified for the Rio Olympics beginning 5th of August.In Track and Field, Mohammad Anas in 400-meters, Srabani Nanda in 200-metres and Ankit Sharma in Long Jump made the cut, while Atanu Das sealed a berth at the Games in Archery.At the Polish Athletics Championship, Mohammad Anas shattered his own 400-metre national record to qualify. He clocked 45.40 seconds, the exact Rio qualification timing.Over at the international meet in Kazakhstan, Sprinter Srabani Nanda made the cut after covering 200-meter event in 23.03 seconds.In the field event, national long jump record holder Ankit Sharma qualified with a jump of 8.17 metres.Archer Atanu Das has made it to the Games after selection trial at Bengaluru. The archer will represent India in the Men's Individual Recurve event. He got the better of his compatriots Jayanta Talukdar and Mangal Singh Champia for the spot.The four Olympic qualifications came a day after Dutee Chand made it to the Rio Games.
