In Afghanistan, four foreign soldiers were killed on Sunday taking the death toll to nine over the weekend. NATO’s International Security Assistance Force said in a statement that the latest deaths were in three separate bomb attacks in the south of the country. Five NATO troops were killed in the south on Saturday, including two Danish soldiers whose tank hit a roadside bomb while on patrol in southern Helmand province. Meanwhile, a suicide attacker struck a police convoy in the western Afghan city of Herat last evening killing four police, while a second bomb blast hit a police convoy in southern Kandahar city killing one civilian.
