Four dreaded militants surrender in J&K

In J&K four dreaded longest surviving militants active in Peer panchal range from Kulgam to Ramban on Thursday laid their arms before the authorities in Kulgam district of south Kashmir. According to a police spokesman, these include Mohammad Rafiq Shelikh alias Basharat, Divisional commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, Peer Panchal range, Bashir Ahmad alias Rashid, Mohammad Maqbiil alias Majeed and Mohammad Shafi alias Haroon Rashid. The militants handed over 2 A.K-47 rifles, one grenade launcher, one wireless set and a large quantity of ammunition. The group involved in several cases of killings and attacks on the security forces carried heavy rewards on their heads.
