The four-day long special session of the Uttarakhand Assembly will begin in Dehradun today. All preparations for the session have been completed. In view of the  Assembly session, Section 144 has been imposed within a 300-meter radius around the Assembly premises. Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri Bhushan appealed to all party leaders for cooperation in conducting the session in an orderly and cordial environment. It's noteworthy that during this session, the state government will introduce several important bills, including the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). The draft was passed in the Uttarakhand Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Dehradun yesterday evening. The UCC  is expected to be tabled in the state assembly tomorrow to introduce in form of legislation.<br />''<br />''<br />
