In Assam, at least four CRFP personnel died on the spot and 30 were injured following a powerful IED explosion, planted by suspected militants, at Bhalukdubi forest area in Goalpara district on Friday morning. The injured have been admitted to Goalpara Civil Hospital. Four of the seriously injured have been shifted to Guwahati Medical College Hospital. According to official sources, the blast went off around 8.00 this morning when the Bus carrying the CRPF personnel crossed the Bhalukdubi forest area on the National Highway. The blast was suspected to be triggered by NDFB anti-talk faction militants through a remote control device. Top police and administrative authorities of the district have arrived on the spot. Meanwhile, security forces have launched a massive man hunt to apprehend the culprits involved in the explosion.
