In Kashmir valley, four civilians were killed as angry protesters pelting stones clashed with security forces and forces had to resort to firing at Sopore patan and Kupwara in North Kashmir. Police sources said that two persons were killed when protesters pelted stones on a CRPF camp at Bomai Sopore and forces retaliated with firing at least two others were also injured. In Patan one person got killed and one injured when people defied curfew and took out a protest demonstration. Earlier one person was killed and a woman was injured in a similar incident in Trehgam Kupwara.In Srinagar, youths indulged in stone pelting at Nowhata and other areas and at least one person was injured.
