In Assam, CBI arrested five persons in connection with the lynching of four youths by a mob in Kokrajhar on 10th of August. All the accused were produced before the Special Judicial Magistrate court in Guwahati today. The Court remanded them to four days of CBI custody. CBI is investigating seven cases related to Bodoland Territorial Area Districts, BTAD violence. The arrest was a part of one of the case.Meanwhile, the number of arrest of National Democratic Front of Bodoland, NDFB, militant has gone up to six in Udalguri district so far in connection with possessing illegal arms. Security forces have today seized illegal arms from the house of a former Bodo Liberation Tigers, BLT member.
