Forward Bloc blames differences of opinions for Left’s poor performance

The Forward Bloc, one of the main constituents of the Left Front in West Bengal, believes that differences of opinions among the Left constituents and the forceful acquisition of agricultural land for industrial purposes are the prime reasons for Left’s poor performance in the recent elections. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters after the Party’s three day Central Committee meeting, the Forward Bloc General Secretary Mr. Debabrata Biswas said that, the Left Front Committees in different districts need to be activated. He said these committees should have regular meetings with different ministers. <br/><br/>Mr. Biswas said that only the CPI(M) should not be blamed for the recent electoral debacle but the Front has to take collective responsibilities.
