<span style="color: #222222;">The Institute of Chartered Accountants India (ICAI) Dubai Chapter marked its 41st anniversary celebrations with an event themed &quot;Bridging the Gap – Health &amp; Wealth&quot;, today in Dubai.&nbsp; The event featured expert speakers who discussed innovative approaches to address systemic inequalities that contribute to poor health and financial struggles, while promoting equitable and supportive environments for all. The event was graced by Dr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, United Arab Emirates, Indian Ambassador to UAE Shri Sunjay Sudhir, and actor Vivek Oberoi.<br />'' <br />'' In his speech, Ambassador Sunjay Sudhir highlighted the circular nature of the Indian economy and the strides it has achieved since gaining independence, along with the achievements of the current government in uplifting the masses through a dynamic and mission-focused approach. He also mentioned India's presidency at the G20 summit, which gives voice to the Global South, and the changing dynamics of the Middle East, including India-UAE relations, the UAE's observer status at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, and the establishment of the I2u2 India-UAE MoU on CBDC, and negotiations on the Rupee Dirham trade.<br />'' <br />'' The newly elected Chairman of ICAI Dubai Chapter, Shri HariKishan Ranawat, highlighted that 44 percent of newly graduating Chartered Accountants are women, showcasing women's empowerment. He also unveiled the chapter's new logo. The event focused on bridging the gap between health and wealth and explored the interconnectedness of these crucial aspects of human well-being. Practical strategies were discussed for promoting healthy behaviors and lifestyles, improving access to healthcare, and promoting economic stability and mobility. Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar also took a session on healthy eating.<br />'' <br />''ICAI (Dubai) Chapter, established in 1982, is the largest, most active, and award-winning chapter among the 44 overseas chapters of ICAI, with over 3,000 members representing more than 1,550 multinational and other companies.
