Former union minister Dilip Ray granted bail in coal scam case

Former Union Minister of State for Coal Dilip Ray, was today granted bail by a special Delhi court in the coal scam case. Special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar granted bail to Ray, who was a minister in 1999 in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. Five others were also granted bail after they appeared before the CBI court in pursuance of the summons issued to them. The bail was granted on a personal bond of 1 lakh rupees and one surety of like amount. Dillip Ray is now a BJP member from Rourkella in the Odisha Assembly.
