DigVijay Singh, Former Union Minister and an independent member of parliament representing Banka constituency of Bihar , passed away in London this morning. He was 65. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.<br/>He was appointed as the state Foreign Minister in the NDA regime when he was with the JD(U). Earlier, he was a minister of state in the Chandrashekhar government also. He was elected to Lok Sabha thrice, in 1998, 1999 and 2009. He also became Rajya Sabha MP in 1990 and 2004.<br/>
