<span style="color: black;">Keshav Desiraju, former Union Health Secretary and the grandson of former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan passed away in Chennai on Sunday.<br />''<br />'' The 66-year old suffered a cardiac arrest early this morning. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in his condolence message expressed sadness over the passing away of Keshav Desiraju on the birthday of his grandfather. Mr. Stalin said, as a Government servant, Desiraju had worked for the betterment of the Country. He said, Desiraju was a humanist and a dedicated social worker for the cause of the differently abled. The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: black;">After retirement, Desiraju remained involved in issues of public health, particularly on mental health, primary health care and community health. He has written many books including, a biography of legendary singer MS Subbulakshmi.</span><br />
