Former Thai PM denies plans to return to his homeland

Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who was ousted in a military takeover nearly five years ago, has denied he plans to return to his homeland to retake the leadership.Talking to media, Mr Thaksin said his sister will lead the opposition Pheu Thai party to a landslide election victory in July. However, the former prime minister said he has no plans to take over from his sister Yingluck. Mr. Thaskin said he wants to see the Pheu Thai party successful and may influence in terms of the ideas and things being a more experienced person.
