<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, former station director of All India Radio, Aizawl and DDK Aizawl Sailothanga Sailo passed away at a private hospital in Aizawl this afternoon. He was 76. Family sources said, he was suffering from prolonged illness of cancer. He was the son of the village chieftain Pianfela Sailo.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Sailo had been inducted as Indian Broadcasting Programme Service, IBPS cadre and began his broadcasting journey as the producer of Tribal Music and Programme Executive at AIR Aizawl from 1976 to 1987. He had discharged responsibilities in various capacities at different stations of AIR and Doordarshan Kendras. He was the Director of DDK Aizawl during 1994-2004 and thereafter he had transferred to Doordarshan Kendra, Guwahati and retired in 2009 being the Dy Director General of Doordarshan, North East zone.</span><br />''
