Former Prime Minister of Nepal Kirti Nidhi Bista passed away at Kathmandu today. He was 90 and suffering from cancer. Bista is survived by two sons and three daughters. Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba has condoled his death. <br/><br/>In a tweet, Deuba said that he is deeply saddened by the passing away of Kirti Nidhi Bista. He was an epitome of simplicity and integrity, and will always be remembered as a great soul. And his heart goes out to his bereaved family. Bista was born in Kathmandu on 15th January 1927. He first became Prime Minister of Nepal in 1969. Bista served three times as PM from 1969 to 1970, 1971 to 1973 and 1977 to 1979.
