The mortal remains of former President APJ Abdul Kalam is being taken to Delhi from Guwahati by a special helicopter. His body was taken to Air force station at Borjhar in Guwahati by a helicopter this morning from Shillong. <br/><br/>Meghalaya Governor V Shanmughanathan, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, Speaker of Meghalaya Assembly, several ministers of both Assam and Meghalaya Assam Chief Secretary and DGP along with other dignitaries have paid their last tributes to the departed soul. Earlier, tribute was also paid to the former President at Shillong.
