Former Prime Minister and JD(S) President Deve Gowda has demanded resignation of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Speaker K G Boppaiah in Karnataka. Speaking to the media persons in Bangalore today, Deve Gowda said in the background of Supreme Court strictures issued against them, they should resign immediately.The Congress and BJP cadres staged protests in all the district headquarters today. The Congress was protesting against the BJP Government and sought its dismissal for being corrupt and for losing the confidence of people. The BJP protests were against the Governor whose report to the President has come in for criticism by them.
