Nepal's former Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, the last surviving founding leader of the Nepali Congress, died on Friday at a hospital in Kathmandu. He was 87. Bhattarai died of cardiac arrest. His body was taken to his Ashram in Bandegaun, Lalitpur after midnight. Bhattarai was the Prime Minister of the Interim Government in Nepal after the successful People's Movement of 1990 which brought democracy to the country.
