In Madhya Pradesh, State Anti-Terrorist Squad arrested former national secretary of banned outfit Students Islamic Movement of India – SIMI- Muneer Deshmukh in Bhopal on Wednesday. He was one of the top leaders of the SIMI. State ATS Chief Vipin Maheswari said Muneer was arrested on a tip-off that he was coming to Bhopal from Delhi by Malwa Express. Muneer Deshmukh carried a reward of 15,000 rupees on his head. About half a dozen cases have been registered against him.
