Former Minister and senior politician Jaswant Singh today rejoined BJP after ten months. He was expelled from the party following controversy over his comments on Mohd Ali Jinnah in his book. His formal re-entry in the party was announced at the party headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of senior BJP leader L.K. Advani, party President, Nitin Gadkari and other senior leaders later this afternoon. He expressed gratitude to LK Advani for recalling him to join the party and said that he is humbled by the gesture. Mr. Singh is an MP from Darjeeling and has held important ministerial assignments including External Affairs and Finance portfolios during the NDA regime.<br/>
