Former Manipur Minister Mohmed Allaudin Khan passed away this afternoon at the Lakshmi Nagar Cancer Hospital in New Delhi. He was 53.He was undergoing treatment at the Hospital for the last few weeks. Allaudin Khan was elected twice on Congress ticket as member of the state legislature from Keirao Assembly Constituency in Impahl East. He was Minister in the Congress-led SPF Government of the state in 2002 and 2007.He held the portfolios of Minority and Other Backward Classes, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, and Science and Technology.
