Former Manipur Chief Minister Wahengbam Nipamacha Singh has passed away today. He breathed his last at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital, Imphal at 10:20 in the morning. He was 82 and was survived by his wife. He was also Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly. He served the state as Chief Minister from 16th December, 1997 to 2nd February, 2001.
