<span style="color: #222222;">A special court in Maharashtra's Dhule district convicted former state ministers Suresh Jain and Gulabrao Deokar, along with 46 others, in the multi-crore 'Gharkul' housing scam. <br />'' <br />'' According to AIR Dhule Correspondent, Special Judge Srushti Neelkanth directed police that all the 48 accused, who were out on bail and present in the court, be taken into custody immediately. <br />'' <br />'' The key accused in the case including Former Minister Suresh Jain was sentenced to seven years imprisonment and a fine of  Rs. 100 crore, Pradeep Raisoni given seven years and a fine of Rs. 10 lakh. <br />'' <br />'' Gulab Deokar was given five years of imprisonment and fine of Rs. five lakh . <br />'' <br />'' In addition, Rajendra Mayur and Jagannath Vani have been sentenced to seven years imprisonment and up to  Rs. 40 crore each.<br />'' <br />'' Charges were initially filed against 57 suspects in the case eight of them have died. <br />'' <br />'' Earlier in the day, the court had directed all the suspects and their lawyers to appear in court. <br />'' <br />'' Shiv Sena leader Jain was arrested in March 2012 for his alleged involvement in the  Rs. 29 crore housing project scam when he was the State Minister for Home in the 1990s. <br />'' <br />''<br />''NCP leader Deokar was arrested in May 2012. He had to spend three years in jail before securing bail.</span>
