Former Maharashtra Minister Babadrao Gholap resigns from Shiv Sena (UBT)

Former Maharashtra Minister Babadrao Gholap resigned from the Udhhav Thackery-led Shiv sena (UBT) today, ahead for the forthcoming Lok Sabha and state assembly polls. Mr Gholap, who represented the Nashik-Road-Deolali assembly constituency for five consecutive terms, had in September last year resigned as the deputy leader of the Shivsena (UBT) but it was not accepted. In a letter to Mr Thackeray, Mr Gholap said he has resigned from the post of Shiv Sainik. Asked about which party he is going to join, Mr Gholap said he is yet to decide, but rumours are he will probably join Shinde Shiv Sena group.<br />
