After quitting Congress, Former Maharashtra Minister Baba Siddique has joined Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).  Mr. Siddiqui was welcomed by Deputy Chief Minister Pawar and top NCP leaders, including working president Praful Patel and state president Sunil Tarkare. Ajit Pawar presented him party's symbol. Mr. Siddique had resigned from Congress on 8th February.<br />
