<span style="color: #222222;">Former Maharashtra BJP MLA Sardar Tara Singh died in Mumbai today due to prolonged illness. He was 82. Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said, Sardar Tara Singh breathed his last this morning at a private hospital in Mumbai. Mr Somaiya said, Singh had been in the hospital since the last several days and was undergoing treatment for various illnesses. He was elected from Mulund Assembly Constituency in Mumbai four times in a row.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed grief over the demise of Sardar Tara Singh. In a message, Mr Koshyari said, Sardar Tara Singh was a popular leader and social worker. He was always on the forefront of social and religious work. The Governor said, Tara Singh, served the people with great commitment. In his demise, the city and the State have lost a dedicated Lok Sevak. The Governor offered his prayers for the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
