Former K’taka CM Yeddyurappa judicial custody ends today

The bail plea proceedings of former Chief Minister of Karnataka B S Yeddyurappa were adjourned till Monday by the Karnataka High Court yesterday. Yeddyurappa is seeking bail after the Lokayuktha Special court rejected his bail in a land denotification case filed by Sirajin Basha and K N Balraj. Yeddyurappa’s judicial custody which ends today is likely to be extended by the Lokayuktha court. Yeddyurappa is in jail since last Wednesday after being discharged from hospital.Advocates Sirajin Bhasha and K.N. Balaraj, have charged Yeddyurappa, his two sons B.Y. Raghavendra and B.Y. Vijayendra and son-in-law R. Sohan Kumar and others of conspiracy to free government land from official control, a process called denotification, in return for monetary gains.
