Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, B S Yeddyurappa shifted from prison to the Jayadeva Insitute of Cardiology Saturday night is under 48 hours observation in the Intensive Care Unit. Hospital source said, Yeddyurappa was admitted to the hospital at 1.40 am with discomfort in the chest, upper backache, high blood pressure and some urinary problems.
Yeddyurappa was taken into Judicial custody on Saturday after his bail plea on a complaint on irregularities in land denotification was rejected in the Lokayuktha special court. AIR correspondent reports, Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda and some of his ministerial colleagues including Home Minister R Ashoka, Minister for Water Resources Basavaraj Bommai, Excise Minister M P Renukacharya, Law Minister S Suresh Kumar and Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje visited Yeddyurappa in the hospital Sunday morning.
