In Kerala, senior congress leader and former Irrigation Minister M P Gangadharan passed away in Thiruvananthapuram today. He was 77. A six time legislature, Gangadharan was a close confidant of late K Karunakaran. He had served the Congress party as its state General secretary. KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala and other senior leaders of the party mourned the death of Gangadharan.
