Former India footballer Hamilton Bobby passed away in Kochi following a cardiac arrest. He was 44 and is survived his wife and two children. He had twice captained Tamil Nadu in Santosh Trophy and represented the state for seven years from 1993 to 2000.The footballer had also played in the under-16 and under-23 national teams and was a member of the senior Indianational team at President's Cup in Colombo.Bobby is the younger brother of former International Xavier Pius. Dr Ashok Kumar, former footballer of Indian Bank and former player I M Vijayan were among those who paid tributes to Bobby.
