Former footballer Babul Phukan breathed his last today at a private hospital in Guwahati after prolong illness. He was 49. He represented Assam for several years in Santosh trophy. Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has condoled his death. Several organizations and sports lovers have also mourned the death of Babul Phokan .
