Sixty three persons from the erstwhile enclaves in Bangladesh arrived in India today. These persons had opted for India after the official exchange of enclaves. External Affairs Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said in New Delhi that they have been settled in specially made camps in West Bengal. He said, around 987 people from Indian enclaves in Bangladesh have opted to retain their original nationality and 14,872 residents of Bangladesh enclaves in India opted for Indian nationality.<br/><br/>Swarup said, the movement of people is being facilitated through nine batches and the entire procedure is expected to be completed on 30th of this month. Replying to a media query of alleged law and order problem during the arrival of people, Mr Swarup said, the process is smooth and orderly. <br/> <br/>Following the Land Boundary Agreement, India and Bangladesh exchanged enclaves on July 31st midnight. 111 enclaves of India went to Bangladesh and 51 enclaves of Bangladesh to India.
