He expressed the hope that he would be brought back to Bangladesh soon and the law ministry and home ministry will jointly handle the case against him.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''Khairuzzaman, a retired army major, was one of the main accused in the murder of four national leaders of Bangladesh Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, M Mansur Ali and AHM Kamaruzzaman — inside the central jail on 3 November 1975, a few months after the assasination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Augusgt 1975.&nbsp;<br />''</span><br />''</span><span style="background-color: transparent; color: #000000;">He was later acquitted in the case in 2004 during the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) rule of 2001-06. Khairuzzaman was appointed High Commissioner to Malaysia in 2007 during the caretaker government in Bangladesh. He was recalled to Dhaka after Awami League came to power in 2009. Khairuzzaman had reportedly obtained an UN refugee card to stay in Malaysia.</span><br />
