Former Chairman of Tata Sons, Cyrus Mistry was killed in a road accident at Charoti in Palghar district of Maharashtra this afternoon. He was 54.<br />'' <br />'' Local police said Mistry died when his Mercedes car hit the divider on a bridge on the Surya river at around 3.15 pm.  He was going to Mumbai from Ahmedabad. Alongwith Mr. Mistry there were three others in the car.  Police said, apart from Mistry, one more person died in the car mishap while two other injured have been hospitalised.<br />'' <br />'' Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed grief over the demise of Cyrus Mistry. He said, Mistry was not only a successful businessman but a young and someone at whom one could see with hope.<br />''  <br />''Taking to Twitter, Harsh Vardhan Goenka, current chairman of RPG Group conglomerate said, Mistry was a friend, a gentleman, a man of substance. He was instrumental in creating the global construction giant Shapoorji Pallonji and ably led the Tata Sons group.
