Former Chairman of Tata Sons, Cyrus Mistry was killed in a road accident at Charoti in Palghar district of Maharashtra this afternoon. He was 54.<br />'' <br />'' Local police said Mistry died when his Mercedes car hit the divider on a bridge on the Surya river at around 3.15 pm.&nbsp; He was going to Mumbai from Ahmedabad. Alongwith Mr. Mistry there were three others in the car.&nbsp; Police said, apart from Mistry, one more person died in the car mishap while two other injured have been hospitalised.<br />'' <br />'' Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed grief over the demise of Cyrus Mistry. He said, Mistry was not only a successful businessman but a young and someone at whom one could see with hope.<br />'' &nbsp;<br />''Taking to Twitter, Harsh Vardhan Goenka, current chairman of RPG Group conglomerate said, Mistry was a friend, a gentleman, a man of substance. He was instrumental in creating the global construction giant Shapoorji Pallonji and ably led the Tata Sons group.
